About

IMG_5371 croppedHi, I’m Sarah Day. A perpetual late bloomer, I dropped out of a career as a senior marketing executive to work with small businesses as a management consultant, and eventually found my way back to what I really love to do – write.

I’ve dragged my poor blog along for the ride. While it started out providing some actual management advice in a light-hearted format, it’s become a forum for me to write whatever the heck I want. Most days that’s a humorous, but somewhat cynical, take on life as a working mom of three busy kids.

And even though it may seem unlikely, I work for a living. I write business-to-business copy for healthcare, financial services, and technology. My niche? Transforming complex language and concepts into something that is easily read and understood by the intended audience. Like a translator, sort of. Or a copy-whisperer.

You can find out more, or request writing samples, on my business website.

And thanks for visiting!

  1. Sarah, I have to make a confession… you inspired me to copy and use content from your webpage… this one: “© YPort Inc. and Parent Your Business, 2011-2013. Unauthorized use and/or duplication of this material without express and written permission from this blog’s author and/or owner is strictly prohibited. Excerpts and links may be used, provided that full and clear credit is given to Parent Your Business with appropriate and specific direction to the original content.”

Hope that’s ok with you (of course I used CaveGirl MBA and not YPort Inc).
    Have a sunny weekend!
